For Mar 14, 2023:

Please let me know ahead of time if you plan to participate online on March 14.

1. "Intonation". Thanks so much to Grace for the wonderful handout! 

2. "FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022" (p.16~17 of Studio Classroom magazine).

3. "English Learning Goals" handout. Please think about and write down your English learning goals for this term. Be specific about what, when, how, how often, and where. Send/give me a copy so I can help you better. We will review your progress halfway through the term and at the end of the term.  

4. Survival English if you'd like to but did not get the chance on March 7: Culture File 25 (p.90), unit 25 (p.31). Transcripts are on p.56. Gerunds and Infinitives (p.80).

5. "The Passion of Christ" (Good Friday) (Part 1 of 2). Good Friday is on Apr 7 this year, in the same week as Tomb Sweeping Day.

Announcements:

1. No class on Apr 4 (Tomb Sweeping Day long weekend) and May 2, 2023 (Civil Development Week). We will make up for Apr 4 by adding a class on May 30, 2023, which will be our last class this term. Please attend any talk(s) prepare by the school throughout the week of May 1, either in-person or online.

2. Please bring NT$250 for the class fund, for group order of the June 2023 issue of Studio Classroom magazine for next term, photocopies, and food for the party at the end of the term (if applicable). We'll discuss in class weather members of the class would like to have a party for the first 30 minutes of the last class.
